The centre is totally volunteer run. Every session requires 2 operators to be present. Operating the equipment is not difficult and full training will be provided.
The session starts with the users arriving at the centre. They take their seats in the chamber and the operator closes the door. The chamber is then pressurised and, once at the require pressure, the operator requests the users to start breathing through their masks. Users o this for one hour and at the end of that hour, the operator will ask users to remove their masks and start depressurising the chamber. Once down to normal pressure, the door is opened and the users leave the facility. It only remains for the operators to tidy up and switch off the equipment. The whole process takes roughly just under 2 hours.
